OBS Gameplay or screen audio recording issues

Hello All,
I have set up my OBS correctly I believe I have had this problem for about a year and no guides or videos can help me my screen capture is fine but my audio does not record or even show up on the little bar thing even tho my mic works please I desperately need help

Hello! If your OBS screen capture is working but audio isn't, try these steps:

1. In OBS, go to Settings > Audio.
2. Ensure your microphone is selected as the "Mic/Auxiliary Audio" source.
3. Check that the audio levels aren't muted or too low in both OBS and your system settings.
4. Restart OBS and your computer if necessary.

If the issue persists, consider reinstalling OBS or checking your microphone's drivers.
