Question / Help OBS Game/Chat audio Lag with Elgato

Hello, I recently purchased an elgato capture device to use with OBS. I have gotten almost everything to work except for this video/chat synch problem I have been having. Right off the bat when I start the stream, the video is about 2 seconds faster than the game and my own mic chat audio. My microphone appears to be synched wit the game audio, but only the Video is too fast now. The way I test it is to say '1' then shoot my gun in call of duty. I see the shooting happen, followed by '1' - 'gun sound' about 2 seconds later. Any help would be appreciated

Here are my current settings:

Check the "Use buffering (milliseconds)" option in the Elgatos properties and leave it at 0ms. Then test it again.

I have actually tried that once before after reading a few posts the I researched myself. It did not seem to help my issue really

Is the console you're capturing from a PS4 or Xbox One? I remember there were earlier reports where this fix doesn't help when using said consoles. I'm not entirely sure if someone came up with a solution for this yet.

For any other console the game-sound and game-video should definitely match up when the "Use buffering" is checked, though.

For capture cards its also often necessary to set the sound output on the console to stereo. (read this recently, but I cant say for sure)
