This is the only game that this issue happens with, and has been happening for quite a while now (even prior to London)
I have a two computer setup, and use a single NDI source.
I'd notice that while streaming, chat would keep saying the game had frozen while I was clearly still playing.
Alt-tabbing out, I'd check the gaming computer OBS (which isn't streaming thanks to NDI) and it was working just fine with no stats being red.
However, the moment I try to open a source, any menu, or close OBS, the whole program completely freezes up and I have to wait until it tells me it has stopped responding.
Opening OBS again, I'd have to change the game capture source from targeting Fallout 4 to something else, save it, and then re-target Fallout 4.
So I tried something else that someone had suggested and gave SRT a try. The 1 second delay sucked, but seemed manageable.
Unfortunately the exact same thing happened.
There is no specific timing to this either. It could be 5 minutes, it could be 20 minutes, or I could spend most of the stream with zero issues.
But sooner or later, the gaming OBS freezes up and stops working entirely.
I reinstalled it today just to finally see if that would work, and no, no it does not.
I've tried x264, and I've tried NVENC. It makes no difference.
As suggested by a friend, I'm now posting this here in hopes that maybe someone, anyone has an idea as to what is going on and how I can fix it.
FOLON has enough mildly frustrating bugs and crashes without OBS adding to the mix.
Again, this was all happening even before FOLON released.
I took so long to come here because I'm stubborn, but I'm finally at the end of my rope, and it's been months of this, with things progressively getting worse.
Help me, OBS Forums... you're my only hope.
(Oh, and I only have a few basic log files since uninstalling, but hey, it's happened while testing without any streaming)
