OBS freezing video when I try to use my Focusrite Clarrett 8 Pre USB interface

I am trying to figure out what I need to do to be able to use my new audio interface with OBS. And be able to use all 6 of the OBS' audio tracks. Is there some settings that allow me to configure my audio card to let me use it. The video freezes and OBS only sees channels 1 and 2 on interface. when I use a little 2 channel Behringer it seems to work OK. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks,

I am recording live music and need to be able to mix all the instruments when I edit the video.
The sample rates are the same.
What is the ASIO Plugin and where do I get it. Thanks for the help
