Question / Help OBS freezing, not letting me shut it down and then sometimes Freezing my PC

As the Title suggests, I have an substantial problem. From time to time OBS just decides to freeze and then it won't let me exit it. It still sends the sound of the game and whatever I'm saying to my stream (www.hitbox.tv/Pillum), but the picture there freezes too. Sometimes, I'm lucky enough to be able to somehow manage to kill the process, but most of the time I have to reboot my computer and or it just completely freezes my pc.
My PC:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Prozessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz, ~3.5GHz
Arbeitsspeicher: Corsair Vengeance Blau 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
Mainboard: Asus Sabertooth P67 Rev.3.0
Grafikkarte: R9 290X ASUS DirectCU II OC
SSD: Samsung MZ-7PC064D/EU 64GB
HDD: Western Digital WD5000AAKX Blue 500GB
HDD2: Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB
I have no overheating in my system, checked it and always having a thermal monitor running on an external platform. This just ruins me and my streams, please please help me!
I was wondering wheather it was because I had so many active things in OBS; but that can't be it, can it? Also I run the 64 bit version.

Freezing usually is caused by faulty hardware or buggy drivers. Make sure your drivers for all devices are up to date.
