Question / Help OBS Freezes (Not Responding) anytime I preview, or start stream

HELP!

I cannot figure out what is wrong. Whenever I try to preview or start a stream with my Webcam (Logitech c920) and my Video Capture device (Magewell XI100D USB-HDMI) sources it locks up OBS and doesn't show anything.

When I preview or start streaming with just the Webcam, it works fine.

When I have the log file open to view, and I click start preview, It doesn't populate with any information and I have to force quit OBS.

I am new to this all, please help.

Seem like the Magewell is freezing then, does it work OK in other apps?

I reflashed the magewell with new firmware since I made my post, and now I can preview and stream, but I have loads of other issues.

Can't hear the sound from the ps4 (magewell connection) and when I stream I have a terrible low rumble and echo..

Everyone says this thing is just plug and play and it works.. I can't get it to do anything right... Going to try OBS mulitplatform now

Tried OBS Mulitplatform.. The video signal comes through... but the audio is completely jacked. My steam does not play the audio from the HDMI, and when i say the word "Test" through my microphone, I hear it synced to my lips, and then 15 seconds later i hear it again. It's like I'm hearing all audio echoed on loop for ever.
