Bug Report OBS freezes/crashes when webcam is enabled

Hello,

What's happening is I start my stream, the webcam is up for roughly a minute or so, then obs freezes, i can't stop streaming, i can't close the program, it won't even close with task manager.

I stream tf2 using game capture although i've had the same issue with window capture as well. I've encountered the issue with both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of obs. I've renewed all the drivers on the webcam and everything seems to be in order. It works fine with skype or any other program.

Unfortunately there's no log I can provide because the program won't die. I'm forced to restart my computer each time, or leave the not responding program open indefinitely.

The webcam in use is a LogitechQuickCam pro 9000
I'm currently running windows 7 64 bit.

Please help, thank you.

Does the program not close if even if you use task manager? Even in the advanced section of task manager?

I know this problem and have it sometimes. In my case It's not an OBS problem.
The problem is that the driver of the logitech cam simply crashed.

The only way to get the application closed which used the cam is to restart the computer.
Even special process killers aren't able to kill the process after the driver crash.

Logitech C525 here.

@pharaoh
Does this only happen in OBS or also any other program that makes use of your webcam?

I can't close the program until i restart. The advanced section of task manager still doesn't get it to stop running.
