Question / Help OBS Freezes But Only In Game

Hey, so whenever I run OBS everything goes fine, but as soon as I get into game everything hits the fan. The FPS stays consistant and I don't drop any frames but my OBS will freeze up, but only while its trying to capture my gameplay from League of Legends. Haven't had this problem with other captures so I'm not sure whats up, I also cant find any other fixes from google.

Also, I almost forgot to note, OBS unfreezes whenever I tab out of League of Legends. Whenever I tab back into it, OBS will freeze again (and I can see it on my second monitor)

You can't window capture games running in full screen mode. Either run your game in windowed/borderless windowed mode or use a game capture source to hook it in full screen.

Oh. Apparently I wasn't using Game CApture. I'm a dingus LOL Thanks Sapiens for jogging my memory.

Edit: Although, I do see that my OBS client is still freezing, the FPS, kps and preview timer doesn't update while im streaming, although I have the actual game stuff working now. Not sure if this is an issue at all but if you happen to know a fix to that I'd be happy to hear ;)

I have a similar issue, except while recording. The game records for all of 10-15 seconds after I start playing the game, then freezes, but the recording timer continues. I am not sure how to fix this issue and could really use some help.
