OBS freeze when clicking on 'browse' to add an image to a scene

Mac Sequoia 15.6.1
OBS 32.0.1 64 bi

I've updated OBS this morning and now when:
1. Click on a scene to highlight it.
2. Click on the source '+' icon
3. Select 'Image'
4. Name a new image and click 'OK"
5. Hit 'Browse'

Result: the image name appears in the sources list, but the browser window fails to open and OBS seems to get stuck thinking, eventually forcing me to Force Quit. When I do this and reopen I get the option to start in safe mode or normal mode (not sure if this is pertinent but thought I'd add anyway).

NOTE: attempting to add exisiting images works fine.

I have rebooted my Mac and deleted/reinstalled OBS but the issue persists.

UPDATE: I've seen on another section that outdated wacom data can cause a similar issue. I've deleted the wacom app from my maching and it's sorted the issue. I'll leave the post up though, just in case it's useful for someone else.
