Question / Help OBS frames low but CPU usage only 50%

Hey I got this problem with OBS when i try stream a game, the FPS is horible, it drops down to 16-24 FPS, The problem is it is only using around 50% of my CPU that means there is a bunch more power it can use so it dont have to be that low FPS.

I am using a I7 4770K
32 gb ram 1800 hz
780 ti
windows 10 pro
500 mbit up/down

I am clueless to what the hell the problem is.

even games that are 20 years old have area's that just drops frames for no reason what so ever.

I have tried to lower the bitrate, i have tried to speed up the encoding, i have tried to downscale it to 720p ( no i wont go further down) Nothing seems to work. The use of my CPU ofc. changes but the output FPS does not. It say 0% dropped frames. But the output framerate is just bad, and it is the whole OBS that lags not just the stream. I am simply clueless to what the hell is going on.

Before people ask about my GPU it is not overloading, as i am monitoring both GPU CPU RAM SWAP, Upload And download, and none of those are capped out.

You're overloading your video card.

You're also using display and game capture sources in the same scene, you should not.

You should also be avoiding using display capture entirely as the other capture methods are more efficient.

Nope I am not, If i where overloading my video card my game would suffer also, It is not.

use vsync to cap fps to 60 and prevent maxing gpu
check "TLDR setup" checklist in my signature for more detailed instructions
I am using gsync, and vsync would just throw it up at 144 FPS.

Your own log is saying you ARE overloading your video card.
13:22:38.970: Output 'simple_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 6199 (24.7%)

well if it is a gpu problem, then I will see in a weeks time, where my new 1080ti is comming. But i highly doubt that is the case, For godnes sake some of the games i had this problem with is more than 20 years old.

That might be but gpu-z says i am running at 80-90. You understand why i am frustrated?
And what pci-e mode is your card running in? (Screenshot of the first tab of gpu-z)

Is there any chance you can get a more complete log? Unfortunately the one you posted originally did not include the profiling information, which could be useful here.

You should be able to get this from one of your previous logs, as long as you don't upload the "current" log.

It is the full log. I can try upload a log from yeasterday though, although it is not as bad as the one today. The frames from this log fixed itself after i limited it to 30 FPS. I think it is that log atleast :D
