Everytime I try and use obs it wont capture my actual framerate. i roughly get around 150 frames in a LOL game however if i look on my second monitor my OBS looks laggy and as if i have a very low framerate. it is choppy and bad while my league is running so smooth. does anyone know why my games runs so smooth and yet obs makes it always look so choppy? i have tried to use display and game capture and display is much more worse than game capture. HELP! : )

OBS will not match your in-game framerate. I think you're a bit confused.

Please post a log:

I understand that but I am a streamer and am helping anothjer streamer setup his stream however even tho we have nearly the same settings he simply can not league through OBS withoiut it looking terrible. he has a gaming PC and updated software so i would thjink that he can get atleast a watchable framerate.

You are trying to use the NVENC encoder to stream 720p 60fps at only 6000 bitrate. This is likely why it looks bad.

Change the encoder back to x264 and see if that helps.

..What? I didn't say anything about display capture. Change the ENCODER, in Settings -> Output to x264.

Please provide a new clean log.

To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Looks like the GPU is overloaded:

Code:
00:43:33.457: Output 'simple_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 3287 (54.0%)

Two things to check:

- Make sure FPS in the game is being capped, either with a frame limiter or vsync
- Make sure the Windows 10 Game Mode is disabled

Check this video on how to see if FPS cap is on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csm-pRWbsEQ

and how to i check for windows 10 mode to be disabled

@Fenrir While he can attempt all of this, this sounds like the same issue that me and several others are experiencing: FPS is fine in-game, but OBS drops the FPS down to a ridiculous amount when in-game. This shows on stream.

Glad it did :) What FPS does OBS show now when you are in-game? (At the bottom of OBS where it shows the bit-rate, it should show your frame rate as well)
