when I open OBS I lose 10-15 FPS not streaming at all just opening and bang the hit. is this normal? am I doing something wrong I tried disabling windows game mode which caused stream lag before not sure now. disabled full screen optimization nothing helped also it might be part of the program but when I manually close the process called cef-bootstrap fps goes up by like 8

Nobody having this issue? I need to know why obs reduce fps when open without streaming or recording just opening it it affects performance then it takes around 15 fps hit when streaming. that is like 8+15 frames loss.

there I uploaded the latest one after my stream today. by the way the loss in FPS occurs before streaming. streaming reduce performance that I understand but just opening the OBS and see my fps goes down is the issue

I'm seeing the same thing and I believe it is natural for OBS to consume that many resources even when the stream is not "live".

I take a slight hit in performance on my i7 7820X 8-core that is of Intel's most current high-end CPU line - even when OBS is open and not actually streaming.

I choose a different log. but I guess that is all that is showing. is normal when streaming but I think is not when stream is not live but if its normal then I guess that what we get. I tried the classic OBS and it doesn't reduce the performance when opened but when I try to stream it takes me from 150fps to 120 that is too much in my opinion.
