Question / Help OBS FPS Dropping when OBS is minimized

Hello
So im wanting to record Football Manager 2018 in 3D but i have a issue when i have OBS on the screen the FPS stays at 60FPS but as soon as i minimize it from the screen the FPS drops a lot any ideas why this is if you tell me what you need to see report wise i can do that if you tell me why thanks

You're overloading your video card somehow.

so what would you suggest i change settings wise

Any ideas what i can do when i have OBS on the screen the FPS is fine on OBS but the second i minimize it the OBS FPS gets really low
