I know this sub-forum is for OBS Studio, but there is no meta-forum for forum improvement.
I have created a duplicate account myself and I want to delete it now. Other people have been facing the same issue for long and posting threads "please delete my account" several times:
In fact, their accounts were deleted in the meantime for some of them, with no explanation from moderator nor any note from dev that the feature is missing and would be implemented so people can delete their own account later.
Is this forum using a 3rd party framework that you are unable to modify? In this case I suggest you forward this suggestion to the issue tracker of that forum framework.
EDIT: just found the answer on another post (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/how-to-post-a-guide-read-here.14999/), forum sofware is XenForo. And there is an incredibly long thread of 14 pages (!) about why there should be or not be a button to self delete account: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/give-user-an-option-to-self-delete-their-account.2720/
People seem very wary about spam accounts and abuse, as well as ghost users "Deleted accounts" leftover. But none of this should be an issue for an account that was just created and never posted like mine...
Anyway, I'll do like the others and post a message "please delete my account" but since the account is new, it has not been verified so I must wait a little to get the confirmation email (and hope I don't forget by the time).
