Bug Report OBS forgets settings if you hard reset

If you manually insta reset your PC for whatever reason, it forgets the scenes collection and profile it was in. It also asks you for license agreement approval.
 
This isn't really a bug, you will lose unsaved data in any program if you hard reset.
 
Shouldn't it load a config it used to use before instead of losing it and loading later after you agree with the license agreement?
 
Yes, but a hard reset can easily corrupt files, especially ones recently used or already opened due to unflushed caches both in memory and in your SSD / HDD controller.
 
I wonder why reset computer without safely using the start, shutdown, or pressing ctrl+alt+del to open task manager, sign out, or shut down?

OBS failure to save settings also happens when out of disk space on disk C. Sometimes OBS erases all settings without warning that it can't save settings while out of disk space.
