So far I am only noticing this with For Honor only regardless of graphics settings. I do not know if it existed pre -patch. The issue happens regardless of encoding/streaming/recording as well and regardless of what is in the scene.
The issue /
While in the game of for honor, in an actual match/benchmark or otherwise actively playing, fps counter on the bottom right drops to anywhere between 20 and 40 fps with stutter when set on 48(or 60)fps in video settings, When alt tabbed, active outside of the game, OBS captures the game(or display source) smoothly, the problem seemed to have gotten worse as well when I applied multiadaptor compatibility to the game capture source.
The fact that the game runs smoothly regardless of OBS activity (consistently pulling benchmarks with 70 average fps), this leads me to believe there is and issue on OBS side
my video settings in OBS are as follows:
Base Res: 2560x1440
Output Res: 1280x720 (Changing this doesn't seem to effect much if at all)
Downscale Filter: Bicubic (this might have the most effect, but it's hard to tell.. being on lanczos while scaled seems to actually provide better results, but still experiencing frame drop/stutter.)
Common FPS Value: 48 (I have changed this to 60 just to see and it doesn't seem to change/make it any better or worse)
In Game, being windowed, Borderless windowed, or Fullscreen does not effect obs Capture frames either.
Attached are some logs from testing tonight
Feel free to request me to provide more information if it is needed,
Hope to hear more on this soon.
Thank you.
