Question / Help OBS feature - Delay (seconds) streaming

I would like to verify if this works or not, and how is it intended towork. I would personally like to delay my stream for 15-30 mins since I play some competitive games, where cheating can occur.

I did a search on the forums for this topic, but the first 2 pages of results that I could access (the next ones would not load) did not show any similar topic.

I have done a search on Google about this and found the following:

Does anyone have experience with this feature using it at twitch/any other providers and can verify or clear the above?

1. that should long be fixed and was only really a problem in the test versions with the delay i think.
2. thats only true if you use twitchs OWN delay server. For OBS you just go to broadcasting settings and put in your delay (i think in seconds? maybe minutes cant remember since i never use it)

Thanks for the answers so far XeiZ, since I want to delay for 15-30 mins I was wondering how does it work?
Where is that 15 min of data stored?
Is there any performance impact?

Stored directly in your ram. If you have a high bitrate stream it will eat up a fair amount of ram. 15 minutes is a bit overkill. Pray you don't drop frames or get disconnected either.
