OBS failing to finalize render with av1?

Been using AV1 lately with my 4090 and occasionally OBS just doesn't finalize the render properly. It's very inconsistent so it's hard to say what's causing this but the video will finish and have a size but when I go into the details tab under properties there's no data for length, framerate, bitrate, etc. The end result is a video that's basically just junk and can't be played but I have no idea why this is occuring or what might be causing it.

Current recording settings are attached along with an example of what the final output looks like compared to a normal recording. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Anyone else encountered this? Switched back to h.264 and havent had the issue again. From what I can tell I think it has to do with episodes going past 30 minutes which seems weirdly arbitrary.
