Question / Help OBS & Facebook Live

I have been trying to connect to facebook live and have been following these instructions:

however the camera stayed offline.
It seems like facebook couldn't detect my default camera on my laptop.
when i put "external camera" but the camera is dead. it says "offline"

You don't select "external camera" from Facebook, you create a live video and then stream to it with OBS. See https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-stream-to-facebook-live.391/

You also need a new key for each stream.

it happened many times to me I don't know why after all these years they still have the same bogs and problems! Instagram is much more better than Facebook. at least. when you post sth there it will automatically share to your Facebook too so I don't need to worry about it anymore
