Question / Help OBS + Elgato HD60

Okay so I am new to the whole streaming type of thing but I know a lot of computers. I bought a capture card added it to a Sources as a Video Capture Device but for some reason it's not helping me with my stream I lag when I stream maybe OBS does not support the capture card I'm not sure but I need help.

Set your x264 preset back to veryfast.
Uncheck use custom buffer size.

Thanks that fixed most of the lag still feels like my game slows down a little but I guess that is what to be expected when streaming
