The elgato isn't a video game capture like minecraft on PC. It's a video capture device (similar to a webcam). Additionally, it only has 32-bit drivers so you MUST use the 32-bit version of OBS to interact with it.

I found the HD60 absolute garbage, sent it back in favour of an Avermedia Live Gamer HD and it works great. The Elgato rep on these forums acknowledged that the HD60 is a bit shit, especially when it comes to using 3rd party software.

For xbox one make sure you have the Blu Ray player deleted. That's where the hdcp is. Also highlight properties in the el gato while in preview and make sure it's selected in the drop down. Settings in obs and the el gato software are different.
