Question / Help OBS + EL Gato Audio Issues

Recently I've been running into some issues while streaming Xbox 360 gameplay with the El Gato game capture HD. After about 10 or more minutes of streaming, the audio becomes delayed and starts to skip and cut out like crazy. I don't watch my own stream so I haven't noticed it, but viewers have brought it up and I first noticed myself when I uploaded a video from twitch to youtube. Here is an example. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

I am aware of the video/audio issues with the elgato device. I am working on a fix for the audio/video desync. hopefully it'll work.

It seem the issue come only with X360, the game is perfectly sync when i stream with a ps2.

Maybe this issue is related to the signal being digital, and analog signals work better when capturing? Can't say for sure though. Well depending what you used to capture your Xbox 360, but I would assume HDMI.

So I plugged my El Gato in the usb 3.0 port as opposed to 2.0 and it solved my problem. Interesting but I'm not complaining.

NTRILLS - Fascinating. Thank you very much for the information. USB 3.0 has a ton more bandwidth and shouldn't have any latency issues, so it explains why it would work. This is probably the same issue for webcams that go out of sync.

Everything still seems to be running smooth Brutal. Streamed for a couple hours last night with no issues. @Rezard my Gato was plug and play with my usb3.
