Question / Help OBS drops frames, crashes then BSOD

Seems to have lag spikes randomy, not sure if i'm being too picky upon quality or if there is something that can actually resolves this.

Tried all sorts of different settings, dropped frames wont go away....

Now it randomly crashes

Bump XSplit runs and operates smoothly, using a tad more CPU power but doesn't drop frames like Obs any reason?

A BSOD indicates a system or driver issue. OBS cannot directly cause a system crash like that, it can only trigger some other existing problem.

Obs crashed from usb driver issues then BSOD was from same thing. That I figured out what I can't figure out is the massive amount of dropped frames I'm getting

Tried all of that, not sure why xsplit is running fine and obs isn't.

I'm using studio. realized I posted this under the wrong thread.


When I stream Xbox through my elgato it's flawless but the second I play a game on PC and stream its garbage.
