Question / Help OBS dropping frames

So i downloaded OBS a couple days ago, worked out my settings in order for there to be no in game lag and no fps drop in game. I streamed for 2 sessions each maybe 3 hours long no problem, it streamed to twitch clearly smoothly and with no lag. Then i came back to OBS today started streaming and for some reason it started getting hectic. so for the first 30 seconds its fine absolutely no problem but then after 30 seconds of streaming the OBS client starts dropping frames and the color indicator in the bottom right goes straight from green to red. while its happening i get no in game lag and no in game fps drop. Google chrome works fine as does buffering a you tube video. When i stop streaming sometimes OBS crashes or i hear a clicking sound in my headset.

This is not a bug, moved to questions and help. Dropped frames mean your connection to the server you selected isn't good enough. Lower your bitrate, change servers or change providers.

Same for me, when I updated OBS I started to have massive drops, encode upload 3500bits, always worked no problem. Updated have same connection to amsterdam. (I live in sweden) tried Stockholm sweden had massive drops. But with Frankfurt it seems to work as its looks like now..

And exactly that is your issue, london.
London is down until monday and every request is being redirected so every other eu server is overloaded too.
I literally can not stream to eu servers this weekend but us server work fine.

Coincidentally this happened the same time obs released an update.
