We recently bought a USB 3.0 switcher and have it hooked up to our external hard drive to switch the external hard drive between two computers. Unfortunately, OBS has had significant increases in CPU and drops in frame rate and has even frozen when stopping the recording. Obviously, the solution is to not use the switcher, but what could be causing this issue?
