I have recently started streaming on Twitch. The issue I'm have is that OBS will start dropping frames with no warning, some days it will run 6+ hours with no issues and other days I can't get it to work at all. I recently ran across a program that checks upload rate to the servers to Twitch. I noticed that some days it'll say 10000kbs + will the quality of 99 and like today it will show 3000kbs but was 0 quality. The strange thing is is if I swap over to xsplit or to the onboard graphics card for shadowplay it will still run just fine. I don't like xsplit because for some odd reason it has pretty much bogs my whole computer down. And for shadowplay I can't use an overlay or a scene Switcher. For these reasons I like using OBS. I'm unsure what is causing the issue if anyone can give me any insight,OBS runs so smooth on my computer when I stream but I can't keep a constant upload for most of the time I have my bit rate lower than 3000 because I've read ahead of time that people also have to download it as your uploading it I don't have my profile dump in front of me and I am currently at work on break. I have Comcast with a download speed of 250 megabytes and then upload speed of 15 megabytes my upload rate on OBS is 2500 I have all the preferred settings optimized as the program request. My rig is a 4.0 ghz 16gis of ram with a GTX980. While streaming memory only at 40% processor is only used at 30-35%, any help I can get with why I can't get a constant good quality upload to twitch would be very helpful thank you.
