I do lengthy local recordings, and last night I ran the misfortune of accidentally recording to a drive that didn't have enough space on it and didn't notice. Rather than cease recording, which I would have noticed on my secondary, OBS continued to attempt to record when the disk ran out and silently produced a file expectedly missing the full data. Furthermore, since it didn't finish writing the container information, the resulting file needed re-muxing to support seeking or otherwise function properly in MPC. I have yet to check if the file will encode properly through ffmpeg, but since I was using mkv it should be fine.
The log shows no errors, but here it is anyways.
This is less a "bug" in a true sense of the term, but more a highlight that OBS should at least stop recording and immediately (and loudly) report that the disk it was recording to ran out of space.
