Question / Help Obs doesn't record full screen

Hello, i'm new to obs and i wanted to record some session in my laptop. I've solved the black screen problem however i realise that obs is only record part of my screen for the display capture. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm new also and had the same problem - it was only recording the upper left rectangle of the screen, as if 1024x768. Solution: on my screen, there is a "Sources" small window (maybe I undocked it by mistake). In it, I had to remove the "Display Capture" source I created yesterday, because the "resize output (source size)" option (as seen with a right click) was grayed out. Then I recreated it by clicking on "+", choosing "Display Capture", Create New, OK. Then right clicking on "Display Capture", I was able to choose "resize output (source size)" and it started to record the full screen. Again, I'm still fumbling around, but I hope this helped.

I had similar problems when trying to record elite dangerous. It only showed the top left hand part of the screen. You can go to Sources, then display capture, then right click, transform, edit transform, under Bounding box type set it to scale to outer bounds. This should fix the problem.
