OBS doesn't recognize iPad in Windows

I'm using OBS to screen capture a 5th gen iPad, but seems that when I connect via USB-Lighthing to Windows, open OBS and create a Video Capture Device source and try to select device, the only option I have is the OBS Virtual Camera option and nothing else.
I have installed iTunes on my computer. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm having this same issue. Very weird. Does my windows machine need some kind of driver additions? i can see the ipad files in my windows explorer. Very weird. YouTube videos make it seem like you just plug and play but I'm not having that easy experience either.
