I am using OBS and have had this issue for a very long time so I know it's not related to a version.

WITH AERO ENABLED:
When pressing 'Preview Stream', background images that I use will show up perfectly fine, however games (that are on top of the list) will not show.

WITH AERO DISABLED:
When I press 'Preview Stream', the background image shows as well as the game.

This is the same for streaming. Only the background image works.

I can provide video proof if required.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Also, I did read this about the black screen: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965
This does not to seem my issue as I can see an image perfectly fine, it is only the stream that does not work, and it works perfectly fine without Aero enabled.

Are you using Monitor capture? If you are using Monitor capture, then you'll have problems with Aero on. If you want to use Monitor capture, Aero must be off. Otherwise, Aero is best left on for Window capture.

Well, if it's working now... there's no real need to. Just keep an eye on it.

By the way, having streamed Minecraft myself I can say this much -- for some reason or another, Minecraft itself likes having Aero Enabled. Even without streaming for me it would perform some 16% better with Aero Enabled. Then again, I do not play it fullscreen.
