Bug Report OBS does not take subtitle layout from VLC source

VLC Versions : 64 bit (current)
Issue : OBS doesn't listen to VLC subtitle layout settings when using vlc video source

VLC source in OBS displays subtitles from subtitles file. I changed the subtitle font, positioning etc in VLC. In OBS with VLC source, the default VLC subtitle settings are used, not the custom layout I created.

As a workaround, you might try using the NDI plugins for VLC and OBS, as in this case OBS will be receiving exactly the video as VLC would render it.

The subtitles have to be in ass format - OBS reads the font style from it. To change the style - edit the subtitles in any subtitle editor.
