OBS does not save camera settings

OBS does not save camera settings, also when I already have the camera with the correct configuration and I open a game, the configuration becomes the default.

I have the same problem and, yes, it's a Logitech camera. I have to go in to configure video every time I start OBS and reconfigure the white balance, etc. (but for some reason the zoom and other camera control settings are remembered) :o

These settings are not handled or configured by OBS, they're stored internal to the camera. OBS just calls the camera's config window or the Windows default config window when you want to make configuration changes.

Logitech cameras are NOTORIOUS for not properly retaining user settings. Some work fine. Some work until you reboot the PC. Some lose their settings each time you cycle the camera off and back on. I have a c920 that works great, keeps its settings even after it's been unplugged for a month... and a second c920 that resets each time the camera turns on.

This isn't something OBS can fix though, as OBS doesn't touch the camera settings themselves, as noted above. Yell at Logitech to fix their firmware/cameras.
