OBS does not record short tones

I've had the following problem for two weeks now. From one day to the next, OBS no longer records short sounds, e.g. individual guitar strings or clapping your hands.
There are no filters set. OBS is up to date.

In the Windows sound settings I see an amplitude, so I know the microphone works fine, but in OBS there is no amplitude. As soon as I start talking everything works normally.
Unfortunately I haven't found a solution online or anyone with a similar problem. I hope you can help me.
