Question / Help OBS does not give me video signal in any video player

When I capture a video player it shows only a black screen, the sound if it works, I show it here in an image, I have active showing the the desktop screen and the video if it is shown, but from the window of only vlc it shows a black screen, Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Why are you trying to window capture a media player instead of adding the video using either media or vlc source?

because it does not allow me to control the reproduction and it's not giving me sound reproducing that way, at least using vlc source

Then you're going to need to change the renderer in VLC.

I changed it to openGL and it worked
