Question / Help OBS Disconnect/Reconnect

Hi,
I am streaming from my universitys halls of residences and i am having random disconnects after some hours stream never drops.

Your network connection is dropping or being reset. Not uncommon for university connections.

Any idea why this could happen this started very recently.

University connections are not the most stable. It's common that there might be measures in place specifically to hinder high-bandwidth applications like streaming, filesharing, torrenting, etc; they may just have been implemented. You'd need to contact your IT/network support desk and have a conversation with them about it. Your network connection is dying over and over again though, which is causing the problem... again, a common university bandwidth-mitigation method. Browsing won't be affected, but certain types of traffic will be near-impossible.
