OBS disabling JoyToKey while running

Hello,

I am having an issue where my instance of JoyToKey is failing to recognize any controller input, only while OBS is running. When I close OBS, the functionality returns to normal. On two occasions I have managed to see JoyToKey functioning properly alongside OBS, though I am unsure if it was a result of some random combination of actions, multiple closings and reopening's, or simply waiting a certain amount of time.

For context, I am using a Switch Pro controller over Bluetooth. On my scene I have both a switch pro input overlay as well as a keyboard overlay (I am playing a game which does not have controller support, so I am using JoyToKey to play it with a controller and I want to have both true and simulated inputs displayed). I can tell that my controller is being read as the controller input display is showing inputs. The keyboard input display doesn't register from controller inputs, but reads regular kb inputs properly. The JoyToKey window also does not show any activity when OBS is running. On the two instances I was able to get things working properly, the kb input display was correctly reading inputs from JoyToKey.

I need this working for my setup, and I would very much like to find a consistent way to get everything working properly together.

Edit: The controller is also unresponsive in the controller properties window, only when OBS is open. The problem does not seem to reside with JoyToKey, but with OBS interfering with my controller as a whole.

I have found a strange workaround -- opening the virtual keyboard by holding down home + (-) completely fixes the issue.
