I'm trying to set up Voicemeeter Banana and OBS to work together so I can separate Desktop, Mic, and chat software into separate audio tracks.
I'm still trying to work through kinks, but I've noticed that If I make a recording of just my mic, I can play back the file and hear my mic with no problem. However, If I start recording and then use the Skype Echo/sound test feature, I can only hear the input from skype and not from my mic even though no settings had changed (I'm sure that the portion of the skype test call where I record sound from my mic should also be picked up by OBS, but it's not).
Can anyone provide any suggestions (and hopefully advice or solutions) as to why two different audio tracks would be interfering with each other?
Log file of current session (I haven't closed OBS yet after I noticed the issue)
