OBS Crashing While Streaming

Hi everyone!

I recently built another computer and i'm having some issues with OBS ever since. I decided to try SLOBS and it crashed on me twice. I switch back to OBS and the same thing is happening. It's very odd. Any help would be appreciated so i can keep having fun streaming! Thanks!

You very likely have an unstable overclock.

I'm running my hardware at stock speeds. Is there something that would overclock my hardware without me knowing it that you know of?

Most libx264 crashes posted on here have something in common - AMD Ryzen CPUs.
I would suggest that you make sure you are using the current BIOS version running from your motherboard manufacturer and update all drivers associated with it (audio, networking, USB, etc.)

I went ahead and downloaded everything just in case. It seems like i'm good. I'll have to report back after a few days. Thanks a ton for any suggestions!
