Obs crashing when closing every time!

I bought a new PC about a month ago and installed obs, it ran without issue on my old win 7 pc before it died.
but it freezes/crashes every single time I try to close it, I have to hit control-alt-del and kill the task.
I'm running Win 11 now.

I have tried using the latest version of obs and older versions but no difference.

How can I stop it crashing on exit?

Please attach a crash report and a log file from the same time the crash happened.
You can access both via the Help menu.

it happens the instant I press the 'X' to close the window. I'll look for the report, thanks.
