OBS Crashing when changing scenes and hitting high mem

Hi,

My last log and crash files are linked below.

I 'do' have a lot going on in my OBS setup as I'm a heavy streamerbot user. I was getting occasional errors when ending streams but now, I am getting crashes when changing from one scene to another. The Log Analyzer says that 'Audio buffering hit the maximum value. ' A prior log told me that an image component might have been causing this - but that object a) produces no sound and b) is set to Monitor Off. It was set to go to every audio track though. I disabled / unticked it on all 6 audio tracks and notice that the log analyzer now didn't say it was the likely culprit.

It feels like this is more than just to do with audio. I have made sure that my graphics card driver is up to date and that

Kind Regards,

Tweed

Well, interesting one this one. I followed the route of 'audio buffering' for a while and stumbled across a post by someone saying that their approach to that had been to go through their potential audio sources and set those they knew they could mute to Monitor (mute output). I've done that - as I have a LOT of sources that I will never need to hear and removed them from all audio six tracks + muted them.

This had an absolutely instant effect of reducing OBS's load on my CPU. In fact, that was quite staggering, nearly halving it.

The next thing I did was to completely remove all my custom transitions from within my Transition Table (plug-in). I also worked out (through trial and error) that a couple of specific casting scenes were causing crashes so I hopped into Studio Mode and deleted them. Because I typically transition between them with the Move transition I thought I might be causing some of my own problems by having slightly different things on a couple of the screens so I've taken a baseline from one of my perfectly working scenes and am transforming that into replacements for the ones I deleted. That way, every seen I cast from will contain the same things, but in different points in space.

Seems stabler for now at least but I would certainly be interested to know what people make of my logs.
