OBS crashing on Windows when streaming to Twitch

Hi team,

My friend has been having issues with OBS crashing randomly when streaming on Twitch. They've been debugging it for a while, trying to figure it out, and haven't been able to fix it for good yet.

Things tried so far:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling OBS.
- Using beta OBS Audio features (as some crash logs reported the audio driver crashing).
- Not using the beta OBS audio features (using third party tool [Sonar, by SteelSeries] to balance different audio tracks).
- Resetting windows, and also creating a new user.
- Uninstalling/reinstalling/upgrading graphics drivers.
- Removing other USB peripherals outside of minimum required hardware (keyboard/mouse/microphone/headphones).
- Removing some USB drivers that may have caused an issue (in this case, HyperX Microphone drivers).

The crashes are regular, but don't seem to have a reliably reproducible trigger. We've looked at the System Event logs, and can't see anything of note, and similarly with the OBS crash logs (the last few of these are attached).

Things that were happening when OBS crashed include:
- Playing an Unreal Engine 5 game
- Launching a different program
- Playing Phasmophobia (crashed during the game, with seemingly nothing happening to cause it).

They're wondering if it might be related to a graphics card issue, as there was some tearing on their main screen, but not the one with OBS on it.

If you have any further ideas, we'd love your help! Thank you. :)

Can you please also provide the log file when the crash occurred. One log file is enough.

Worth a look at (different OBS version, only common plugin is "StreamDeckPlugin.dll", but similar crash sequence - crashed "audio-io" thread in "avcodec-60.dll"):
