Question / Help OBS Crashing on start up! (Mac 10.11.6)

Hi, after having installed OBS IOS Camera Source Plugin, OBS itself no longer starts up...it crashes after approx 15 seconds of trying. Have already deinstalled OBS, restarted the Mac and reinstalled OBS to no avail....please help!

Just download and install an older versions. All old versions are on GitHub.

OBS Studio does not support macOS 10.11 as of 24.0.5. You can continue to use the previous version (24.0.3) but new releases will not support El Capitan. Apple has ended extended support for 10.11 and unfortunately in order to support newer releases of macOS, we can't commit to continually supporting older releases.

It says it 24.0.6 DOES support OSX 10.11 see attached screen grab of current OB front page and current (20/12/2019) system requirements page.
Something is seriously wrong if some one is changing the system requirements silently. Otherwise I am sure most of on El Capitan would not have downloaded the curremnt version. Shirley the install program should check the version of the OS BEFORE installing?
