Bug Report OBS Crashing on 1080p 60 fps stream

Hey guys,

I`m having this crash ocurring when I'm streaming 1080p 60 fps.

Also, sometimes I start losing frames all of a sudden. Then I restart OBS and start streaming again, and it looks ok oO.


Can you guys help me? :(

Crashes within x264 like this are typically due to system instability. If you are improperly overclocked CPUs and unstable memory are the most likely causes.

Side note; streaming at 1080p60fps is generally not recommend, for a whole host of performance related reasons.

Just started happening with 30 fps as well

And my Diablo III started crashing as well. o.o

Starting to think it's my memory.

Yea, definitely what krazy said - if you see it crash in that location that's usually what it means. It sucks, but that's not our library; that's the most common h264 encoding library on the market, and it's very up-to-date and stable.
