Bug Report OBS Crashing if XFCE indicator plugin is not used

So i've had this problems on both and old installation and a fresh installation of Xubuntu 16.04. I looked for threads about this problem but couldnt find any so i'm making this thread instead.

If OBS is not started while the indicator plugin is active on the panel, it will crash whenever i hit 'start streaming' or 'record'.

It does not matter if the OBS indicator is activated or deactivated in the OBS settings.

If i run OBS from a terminal and trigger a crash, 'Segmentation fault (core dumped)' is the error message i get.
