OBS crashing along with fortnite and discord?

Hi there,



I have had around 3-4 crashes now streaming with OBS and fortnite. I have a 4090 and i9 13900k. I use NVENC as my encoder. I also stream to TikTok Studio at the same time, using the vertical canvas plugin as a virtual camera and then embed it to TikTok Studio.



Randomly my OBS would crash with the message "An encoder error occured" - also my 3 monitors would go black for a few seconds, like they would restart. In windows I hear the little "unplug" sound and my fortnite crashes along with OBS and discord.

Any idea what the issue is here?

Verify the plugins you're using are updated and are compatible with the version of OBS you're using.

Verify the plugins you're using are updated and are compatible with the version of OBS you're using.

I use OBS 30.1.0 (latest) and the latest plugin version for autm vertical canvas plugin. Besides the rtmp multi stream those are my only plugins.
My NVIDIA driver is also up2date. What I dont understand is that also my fortnite game crashes with an error message. Is this issue maybe not related or caused by OBS?
