OBS crashes with multiple cameras

Hi Everyone,

I'm using OBS 26.12, on a MacBook Pro running Big Sur, Version 11.3.

I'm attempting to use three cameras (my built in FaceTime on my laptop, and two iPhones, one connected via USB cable and running the Camera for OBS Studio app, and another using the EpocCam Pro app, over WiFi), and feed into Zoom.

Whenever I attempt to use all three cameras at once, OBS crashes.

I should note that my MacBook doesn't have a USB port, so I am using a USB-C to USB converter (that's what the camera is plugged into).

It all works fine for a moment, but then the picture starts to freeze and OBS ultimately crashes. I was doing this with no problem a few months ago, but with just *two* cameras (built in MacBook Webcam, and one phone running the EpocCam Pro App over Wifi) and prior to the Big Sur update. Does anyone have any ideas about what may be causing my problem?

I'm including my two most recent log files. Many thanks in advance for your help!!

Billy

It could be the drivers from EpocCam. The crashes is one of the biggest reasons I stopped using an iPhone as a web camera. Novel idea, but it can be buggy. Based on the Bug Sur issues discussed in this forum, I still haven't upgraded to the latest OS.

An iPhone makes a great camera, but I wouldn't ever want to use a camera connected by USB; there are just too many things that can go wrong with that approach. NDI|HX Camera (or NDICam), a Lightning to Ethernet adapter, and a USB-C to Ethernet adapter work well. :)
