OBS crashes when updating

Hello,

When trying to update to the new v28 version, an error messages pops saying that OBS has crashed.

I can't click on OK or CANCEL on the window proposing to save the LOG to the clipboard. The other window (the one of the update) stays infinitely stuck, waiting the crash to resolve.

In Task Manager, if I kill the OBS process and all its sub-processes (obs-browser-page.exe) to close the crash report, the UPDATE also closes itself.

Congratulations. Applauses.

It's something in your side, as the update was flauless to the vast majority.
There's something causing this problem in your system. You need to check what is.

You absolutely DON'T KNOW if it was flawless to the vast majority. You're not an admin, you don't have data neither statistics, you're just a fanboy on a forum. I've face people like you during 18 years on forums, always assuming I'm the one who have messed up something.

Now just imagine this : devs don't want to try to figure out how OTHERS think, what's their machines, their OS, etc. They just assume, as you, that eveybody have their computing environment. So, mathematically, this leads to conflicts with people's REAL environments.

My environment is W10 with tons of softwares installed, I won't uninstall all just because devs don't want to do some efforts and investigate.
To investigate, this has to be done :
1. A real message report when installing.
2. Detection of each steps failure during installation.
3. Human pre-established combinations of possibilities that could lead to such failures, based on their knowloedge, and wich would be displayed to help user to confirm things.

Just letting a faboy say "it's your fault" is the moste unbearable experience that a programmer can let a user live.
