Question / Help OBS Crashes when trying to start a stream.

Everytime I tried to preview a stream OBS would crash and have a minidump.

Set your webcam to 720p or lower, C920s usually lag the system to hell when set to 1080p due to some limitation with the USB bus. Change your NVEnc preset to HQ instead of LLHQ. And try changing your Nvidia driver version, there was recently a bug in Nvidia's driver related to NVEnc... don't recall which version it affected but it was recent and they tweeted about it.

Well still crashing when I did all changes you suggested that last night. I even un-installed my Elgato software. Last thing I can try is un-install obs.

The crash log refers to c:\program files (x86)\obs\plugins\dshowplugin.dll . Maybe that file got corrupted? When you uninstall, make sure that file is gone before you re-install.
