I have an issue with OBS crashing every time I go to setup my Camlink 4k. My camera comes in via HDMI then into my Camlink 4k. Every time I go into OBS and try to configure my Video Capture source so that it is set to Camlink 4K my obs goes to not responding and freezes. This in turn causes my entire PC to proceed to not work correctly. When I go into taskmgr and try to restart Windows Explorer it just goes to a black screen forcing me to completely restart my PC. I have tried reinstalling OBS, clearing my config out from my Appdata folder, I just cant get it to work. It did work for the longest time but then this monday when I had to set up a stream I ran into this issue.
When OBS crashes and I manage to get it closed out, I try to run it again and it does not pop up. I did a scan of taskmgr and I managed to find this, not sure if this helps but I did see that this could be a possible issue?
It appears OBS is waiting for svchost.exe? I'm not sure where to go from here. As of right now, I can run OBS and poke around the settings etc. but it seems like it crashes out every time I connect the Camlink 4K to my PC and try to add it into OBS.
