Question / Help OBS crashes when streaming to custom server

I recently got a new computer, ran all Windows Updates and downloaded OBS. Whenever I press "Start Streaming", it says that there has been a problem and needs to close. I've attached the log.

Computer is Dell Inspiron 15 with 256SD, 8th gen i5 @ 1.6GHZ, 8GB of RAM.

There is a bug in OBS version 22.0.1 with rtmp authentication. If your custom rtmp server runs with rtmp authentication, this is the cause for your crash. I don't know, when an update or bugfix will be released, though.
Possible workarounds are configuring your rtmp server to not require rtmp authentication or to downgrade OBS and install the previous version 21.1.2.
